Alteration Service at Kiss XX of Lichfield, Staffordshire

Although most Bridal Gowns, Prom and Evening Gowns are made individually for each customer, it is very rare that no alterations are required.

At Kiss XX we are able to offer to our customers only, an excellent alteration service from our premises.

At Kiss XX we are able to book customers an appointment with a seamstress, yet all alterations do occur additional cost to the customer.

The seamstresses are very busy, and it is important for all customers to not miss an appointment. Failure to keep an appointment may occur a cancellation fee. Our seamstresses are self employed and time away from the sewing machine is precious.

At each fitting the customer must bring:

• Shoes that will be worn with the item being altered
• Hoop that will be worn with the item being altered
• Bra that will be worn with the item being altered

If these items are not brought to the fitting, alterations will not take place and a charge for the appointment may occur.

Seamstress times are like gold dust and appointments go very quickly. We always try to accommodate all our customers’ needs but we are lead by the seamstress as to how much time they can be away from their machine. The seamstresses have string times that we work to:

Monday 10:00 - 16:30
Friday 10:00 - 16:30
Saturday 08:00 - 10:00

These times are covered by a number of seamstresses and we always try to accommodate your requests.

Each customer will work with one seamstress only.

Alterations are at an additional cost to the customer and payment must be paid direct to the seamstress in the form of cash or cheque. No Credit Cards.

During your appointment with the seamstress, we will be unable to offer you time to try on various items such as veils, tiaras and jewellery, the seamstresses are much too busy and we will only be too happy to help with these items on any other occasion.

Prom Alterations

Prom alterations are the only alterations that take place outside of normal fitting hours.

Due to most of our girls sitting GCSE's we now do prom nights. These are held only for our customers on certain Wednesday evenings around the prom season. (Please contact the shop for set dates and to arrange an appointment)
